Spring Baseball 2015

Few things are better than getting outside and enjoying a season of spring baseball. At North Park Sports we are committed to not only teaching baseball but also teaching your child lessons in the game of life. Each of our coaches are carefully chosen and trained to have positive coaching attitudes.

Below are a few important things to know for the upcoming season …

AT THIS TIME REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. You can call (281) 821-2258 for more information. 

Registration: You can begin registering online Monday, January 12. In-Person registration will be held at the North Park Baptist Church gym on Saturday, January 17 and Saturday, January 24 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Cost: Tball = $95/player; all others = $115/player. Each child will receive a t-shirt, cap and end of the year gift. Players are encouraged to have their own baseball pants, belt, socks and helmet.
Divisions: There are two Tball divisions (ages 4/5 and 5/6), one Coach Pitch division (7-9), and two Kid Pitch divisions (ages 10-12 and ages 13-15).
Evaluation/Try-Outs: There are no try-outs for tball. All other evaluations are held on Saturday, February 7. Times will be announced at registration.
Games: All games, except for the end of season tournament, will be held on Saturdays. Tball will play a total of eight (8) games. All other divisions will play a minimum of eight (8) games depending end of the season tournament.
Season: Practices will begin the week of February 23 and will consist of two practices per week; Games will begin with an opening day celebration on Saturday, March 21 ending with a tournament concluding on Saturday, May 16 (there are no games on April 4 in honor of Easter weekend).

Please note …

  • Opening Day is always a fun day for the whole family. There will be inflatable games, barbecue, snow cones and much more.
  • Practice schedules are determined by individual coaches but will typically consists of  two practices per week. During each practice there will be a time for life lessons from the Bible and the children will be encouraged to memorize Scripture.
  • All games will be held on the North Park Sports fields. Tball games will have a one hour time limit and standings will not be kept. All other games will have a one hour and fifteen minute time limit and standings will be kept for seeding the end of season tournament.
